GymFlow is a simple gym workout app that helps users follow workouts, track sets, and receive recommended training weights.
Data We Collect
GymFlow may collect and store:
- Account information such as email address and authentication identifiers.
- Profile information such as display name, username, public profile setting, preferred unit, language, and notification preference.
- Workout data such as completed workouts, exercises, sets, reps, weights, duration, volume, workout feedback, rest timer preference, and progress statistics.
- Social data if used, such as public username, public profile, following or friend relationships, and leaderboard-related stats.
- Technical data required by Firebase and Google Sign-In to authenticate users and keep the app working.
GymFlow does not collect nutrition data, payment data, precise location, contacts, health sensor data, or wearable data.
How We Use Data
- To sign users in and keep their account secure.
- To save workout history and progress.
- To recommend safer starting weights and adjust future recommendations.
- To show profile, achievements, and optional social or leaderboard features.
- To sync user data between devices when cloud features are enabled.
Data Sharing
GymFlow uses Firebase services from Google for authentication and cloud data storage. GymFlow does not sell user data.
If a user enables a public profile, selected profile and progress information may be visible to other signed-in GymFlow users through leaderboard or friend features.
Account Deletion
Users can delete their account in the app by going to Profile > Settings > Delete account.
Users can also request account deletion at gymflow.termin.nu/delete-account.
Data Retention
GymFlow keeps account and workout data while the user account exists. If the user deletes their account, GymFlow attempts to delete account-linked cloud data immediately. Local app data may remain on the device until the app clears it or the user uninstalls the app.
Children
GymFlow is not intended for children. The app should be listed in Google Play with the appropriate target audience settings.
